We offer several distinct programs that each major in a different area of welding. Our diploma programs are comprhensive. We offer Production, Structural, Pipe, and combination of Pipe and Structural Welding specialties.

Program 101

Production Welding Specialist

 

350 Hours

10 Weeks - 1st Shift

12 Weeks - 2nd Shift
Cost: $6,270

Production welding is geared for students interested in joining the manufacturing related industries. The primary processes focused on in this program are GMAW (MIG) and FCAW (Flux Cored) welding.

Additionally, all production welding student will complete introductory courses in BluePrint reading as well as Welding Symbols. Successful graduates of this course will be able to produce high-quality fillet and groove welds in all positions on carbon steel.

Program 102 

Structural Welding Specialist


525 Hours

15 Weeks - 1st Shift

18 Weeks - 2nd Shift
Cost: $8,985

Structural Welding develops the students interested in the construction, maintenance and repair welding industries.

The primary welding processes in this program are SMAW ("stick welding"), GMAW  ("MIG welding"), FCAW ("Flux core welding") and a brief introduction to GTAW ("TIG welding).

Additionally all Structural welding students will complete introductory courses in Blueprint reading and Weld Symbol reading. Successful graduates will be able to produce high-quality fillet and groove welds in all positions on various thickness of metals up to 1" thick.

Program 103

Pipe Welding Specialist

700 Hours

20 Weeks - 1st Shift

24 Weeks - 2nd Shift
Cost: $10,990

Pipe Welding prepares the student for the transmission pipe welding and process pipe welding industries. Graduates will be prepared to work in chemical and refining facilities as well as nuclear plants. The skills learned during this course will allow the student to pass stringent pressure piping welding requirements on carbon steel pipe in the 6G position on both schedule 40 and schedule 80 6" pipe.

The primary welding processes in this program are SMAW (stick) and GTAW (TIG), and pipefitting layout.

Program 104

Combination Structural / Pipe Welding Specialist

1,050 Hours

30 Weeks - 1st Shift

35 Weeks - 2nd Shift
Cost: $14,010

The Combination Welding covers Production, Structural, and Pipe Welding. The welding processes learned during this course include SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and pipefitting. Additionally, all Combination Welding students will complete introductory courses in Bluprint Reading and Welding Symbols.

This comprehensive course will allow the sucessful graduate to produce high-quality single v-groove welds on schedule 10, 40, and schedule 80 carbon steel and stainless steel pipe.

Future career options include transmission pipe welding, process pipe welding, construction and maintenance or repair welding.
